The method of polishing the surface using physical forces rather than chemical forces such as liquid abrasives is called "mechanical polishing method (physical polishing method)." For example, when repairing a car, the process of removing the body paint with sandpaper and finishing it to a shine with wax can also be considered the same as the mechanical polishing method. By intermittently rubbing the surface of the workpiece, a smooth surface and luster can be achieved, resulting in a beautiful finish.
