◆ Wireless Mobile IP Phone for Factories and Construction Sites Icom Inc. announced on June 23 that it will release the wireless mobile IP phone IP210H, suitable for use in harsh environments such as construction sites, at the end of June. Like the IP200H released in 2020, the IP210H supports internal and external calls over wireless LAN/LTE lines and features a transceiver function that allows for simultaneous communication with multiple devices at the push of a button. ◆ Adopting a Radio Interface While the IP200H had a telephone style, the new IP210H has a radio-like appearance and specifications designed for use in tough conditions such as factories and construction sites, allowing for a smooth transition from familiar radio devices. Additionally, it is equipped with a lithium-ion battery that can operate for up to 30 hours, a robust body compliant with U.S. military standards (MIL), and IP57 dust and water resistance, making it safe to use in demanding environments. The IP210H is compatible with the company's intercom-type communication devices, wireless LAN transceivers, and IP transceivers, with dimensions of approximately 52(W) x 131(H) x 24(D) mm (excluding protrusions) and a weight of about 195g.
