Automating the deburring of holes in machined parts using the SCHUNK deburring tool "R-EMENDO" and Universal Robots.
For this case, we visited our German tool partner, SCHUNK. We visited their CoLab and conducted mutual testing of their material removal application tools, the R-EMENDO series, and Mimic. We focused on deburring with robots. As demonstrated in the video below, Mimic can shape items accurately and effectively without using code. The robot simply follows the movements of the operator's hand. By automating this process, we can improve the overall productivity of the manufacturing process, even without programming skills.
