In embedded systems, the ComEth4060a not only supports 1000-BX interconnection via backplane but also meets the connection needs of legacy boards, external sensors, and systems, and can require a 10/100/1000Base-T interface. It supports full wire-speed L2 bridging and L3 routing, advanced L2-L4 traffic classification, filtering, prioritization, and optimized power consumption. Additionally, it is fully compatible with the switchware of the ComEth40xx series and includes all the latest development features such as IPv6 support (management and unicast routing), RIPng, OSPF v3, VRRP, additional security features (HTTP/SSH client authentication), configurable memory allocation, and new status counters.
