The R&S NGU Source Measure Unit (SMU), with extremely high accuracy and short transient response times, is ideal for tackling challenging applications. Its specialized current meter design allows for accurate measurement of current drains from nA to A in a single sweep, eliminating the need for multiple measurement sweeps. With a short recovery time, it can handle fast load variations that occur, for example, when mobile communication devices switch from sleep mode to transmission mode. High-speed data collection detects every detail with a minimum resolution of 2 μs. The R&S NGU Source Measure Unit can function as both a source and a sink when simulating batteries and loads, thanks to its adoption of 2-quadrant or 4-quadrant architecture.
