[Case Study] Improvement of Wastewater Turbidity in the Bag Manufacturing Industry <Okinawa Prefecture>

A case where the device was disassembled for transport and assembled at the installation site, allowing for delivery in a narrow installation area.

We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of the "Aqua Nature Plus, AN-1000 model" at a bag manufacturing processing plant. Originally, natural sedimentation was performed in four water tanks located in an underground pit, but with the increase in production volume, the discharge volume increased, leading to a shorter retention time in the tanks, resulting in a situation where water had to be discharged with turbidity remaining. After the implementation, the only tasks required for wastewater treatment were the addition of chemicals and the replacement of filter bags, creating an environment where wastewater treatment could be completed in a short time. [Case Summary (Partial)] ■Challenges - The existing sedimentation equipment was insufficient for solid-liquid separation. - Due to the limited space for equipment installation, a device that fits in that space was needed. - Running costs needed to be minimized as much as possible. ■Results - By performing coagulation treatment, it became possible to discharge clear water.
