Puncture impact test for rigid plastics (instrumented impact test) | Reference standards: JIS K 7211-2, ISO 6603-2
This is an impact testing machine that simultaneously measures the force and displacement of impact destruction, allowing for the evaluation of the impact fracture characteristics of plate-like materials such as rigid plastics by measuring maximum impact force, displacement at maximum impact force, energy at maximum impact force, and puncture energy.

basic information
**Features** By changing test conditions such as the weight of the drop hammer and the height of the drop, free fall tests can be conducted to detect impact force, displacement, and duration of action. The impact velocity of free fall can be adjusted within the range of 1.40 to 5.05 m/s, depending on the height of the drop hammer. The control unit can be connected to a PC, allowing test results to be sent to a spreadsheet software worksheet. Test conditions can be input and test results can be checked on the touch panel of the control unit. By equipping an acceleration device using springs (optional), impact tests can be conducted at higher speeds (1.40 to 16.00 m/s) than free fall. When a sample fixation device (optional) is installed, it can automatically hold the sample in place when the door is closed, allowing tests to be conducted while the sample is secured.
