The "Chip Immune Full Stainless" is a magnetic induction proximity sensor that is unaffected by cutting chips from iron, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, or titanium. Even with a large amount of metal cutting chips on the sensor's detection surface, stable detection is possible without the need to remove them. In 1982, we released the 500 series, which adopted the new technology Condist, featuring a φ4mm, M5 ultra-compact proximity sensor that has become common today, pioneering its introduction to the world. This series digitalized the sensor oscillation circuit and associated circuitry, correcting and stabilizing temperature variations digitally (patented in various countries worldwide). As a result, it achieved 2 to 3 times the long-distance detection compared to conventional products. Furthermore, we later developed the 700 series, a completely innovative magnetic induction type proximity sensor (Condet). This sensor differs fundamentally from traditional ones, allowing the entire case, including the detection surface, to be made of seamless all-metal. This results in a very high IP protection rating (IP68 + IP69K) and provides robust mechanical strength at the detection surface. Additionally, this detection principle is inherently unaffected by temperature fluctuations and achieves equivalent detection distances for both iron and aluminum. It also possesses twice the detection distance capability compared to standard products.
