We would like to introduce a case of processing crankshafts for agricultural machinery engines at our company. The size is L31mm × φ10, with a flange diameter of φ44. The material used is chromium-molybdenum steel SCM415. The rough material is shaped through cold forging and center hole processing, followed by rough machining of the outer diameter on a lathe, and drilling and keyway processing on a machining center. We have requested a specialized partner company for heat treatment, which improves strength and hardness. The finished product is completed with grinding of the outer diameter and pin holes, as well as chamfering of the keyway.
