The upper axis is aligned with high precision relative to the lower axis, allowing for the same precision of lens surfaces to be achieved during processing on other axes (using the same conditions and fixtures). Additionally, since it does not rely on position adjustments with the mandrel, it enables grinding with ensured rigidity. The front and rear movement is digitally controlled, and the inclined axis is equipped with a counter, ensuring high reproducibility during setup changes. The processing method using the mandrel and holder makes it easy to establish conditions. Furthermore, combined with the optional rotating mandrel, it supports the reduction of wear resistance and ensures high-precision lens surfaces.
