This sensor, which can be mounted on multi-parameter systems such as CTD probes, consists of a sealed connector, an electronic signal conversion board integrated into the probe housing, and a micro-sensor H2S attached to the peak. Amperometric measurements enable precise and rapid measurements, taking about 2 seconds for approximately 90% accuracy even at concentrations of a few micrograms, and the turbidity and color of the water do not affect the measurements. For measuring dissolved H2S concentration, the output signal value must be correlated with the sample temperature measurement. A calculation formula for determining hydrogen sulfide concentration in mg/L, along with electrode calibration slope and temperature correction data, is included. The micro-sensor mounted at the tip can be easily replaced. The shallow water H2S probe can also incorporate an O2 micro-sensor for measuring dissolved oxygen by replacing the microchip.
