Ideal for final filtration sterilization of fluids prone to clogging, purification processes, and filtration sterilization of formulations including liposomes and emulsions!
The Fluorodyne® EX EDF filter features a unique hybrid membrane structure that demonstrates excellent filtration and sterilization performance even for fluids that are prone to clogging in conventional filtration sterilization filters. This filter can be steam sterilized whether the cartridge is dry or wet. It has a laid-over pleat structure and incorporates cutting-edge technologies such as asymmetric PES membranes, making it suitable for purification processes after clarification and for filtering formulations that include liposomes and emulsions. **Features** - Excellent flow characteristics due to ultra-pleat structure technology and narrow core design, providing a large membrane area. - High particle capture capacity and long life due to a two-layer structure combining mach V technology's polyethersulfone (PES) pre-layer and hydrophilic PVDF final layer. - Low adsorption characteristics and broad chemical resistance. - Low extractables. - Design allows for SIP (Steam-In-Place) whether the cartridge is dry or wet, among others. *For more details, please refer to the PDF documentation or feel free to contact us.*
