The CXP-C4540 camera is equipped with a Sony Pregius S IMX531 global shutter CMOS sensor, featuring a resolution of 4512×4512 (1.1-inch) and capable of image readout at up to 55.8 FPS with dual CXP-6 CoaXPress output. The sensor, with its back-illuminated and stacked structure, offers higher peak quantum efficiency, high resolution, and high sensitivity (allowing for the use of brighter lenses) compared to conventional sensors. The dual ADC with high gain and low gain enables HDR processing within the sensor. The double shutter with a minimum interval of 100 ns is ideal for particle image velocimetry (PIV) applications. This robust camera operates at low power even in harsh temperature environments ranging from -30°C to 75°C. The camera outputs unprocessed raw signals. With an intuitive GenICam interface, image processing can be easily performed. Combining high image quality, speed, and flexibility, the CXP-C4540 is suitable for a wider range of advanced applications.
