The Cheetah series from Imperx is a global shutter camera equipped with Sony's Pregius S 4th generation sensor, available in 16 megapixel, 20.4 megapixel, and 24.6 megapixel models. The Cheetah series cameras have various features while being low power consumption. They process images obtained from high and low gain dual ADCs within the sensor for HDR processing in single-shot mode, resulting in 12-bit clear images. In double shutter mode with a minimum interval of 100ns, they can capture 15 pairs (30 images) per second, making them suitable for PIV. The compact and robust cameras operate in harsh temperature environments ranging from -30°C to 75°C. The new Cheetah series includes three models: CXP-C5341 (16MP with IMX532), CXP-C4540 (20.4MP with IMX531), and CXP-C5340 (24.6MP with IMX530). Cameras with CoaXPress signal output can provide distortion-free images at up to 69.5 FPS. The excellently packaged cameras are suitable for advanced applications such as PIV, satellite imaging, aerial imaging, surveillance, circuit board inspection, and machine vision.
