This is a pad designed to prevent scratches, discoloration, and surface changes on the receiving side when work is placed in a holder and processed. 【Nagata Original UP Sheet】 The UP Sheet features grip and uniformity not found in conventional non-woven fabrics commonly used in lens processing, and it is expected to provide excellent cushioning effects. When used for pellet processing and on the preceding surface for polishing, the raised nap layer of non-woven fabric can deform or detach, affecting the center thickness. However, the UP Sheet maintains elasticity and rebound for a longer time, securely holding the lens and stabilizing the center thickness. In polishing applications, using the UP Sheet to hold the preceding surface can prevent back discoloration and scratches caused by the abrasive wrapping around. It is effective to use Teflon tape in conjunction with the holder.
