The German company BURKHARDT+WEBER is a manufacturer of ultra-large machining centers that did not previously exist. Until now, the processing of large complex parts has been done using dedicated machines for each process (such as horizontal boring mills, fine boring machines, vertical lathes, and gear cutting machines), but by using large horizontal machining centers, process consolidation can be achieved, ensuring accuracy becomes easier, and 24-hour unmanned operation is possible.
