We will hold a technical seminar on November 1st, Wednesday, at the Daihakata Building Reference Conference Room to reintroduce the technology and usefulness of lock ring joints, as well as to promote the fire-free piping method as an alternative to welding, so that many customers can become familiar with lock ring joints. We will present the construction methods, usage examples, and certification and test results demonstrating the performance of lock ring joints, and we will invite experts from the petroleum and electric power industries to give special lectures. We look forward to your attendance. 【Overview】 ■ Co-hosts: U.S. Embassy Commercial Service & E-Piping ■ Sponsors: Japan Petroleum Institute ■ Date and Time: November 1, 2023 (Wednesday) 14:00 - 17:00 (Registration starts at 13:30) ■ Venue: Daihakata Building, 11th Floor, Room 1123 ■ Address: 2-20-1 Hakataekimae, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, 812-0011 Phone: 092-292-5754 ■ Participation Fee: Free (Pre-registration required, first-come-first-served, capacity of 80 people; up to 3 participants per company) ■ Registration Deadline: October 20, 2023 (Friday) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

We handle the 'LOKRING' fittings, which provide easy and reliable pipe connections with a level of reliability equivalent to welding. The 'LOKRING' fittings were developed by NASA in 1987 and are used worldwide as a mechanical joint that serves as a non-welding alternative compliant with ASME B31. Because they can be installed easily and quickly without the use of flames, they not only enhance safety but also significantly reduce total construction costs through shortened installation times and lower labor costs. Since 2012, they have been used in many petrochemical plants, thermal and nuclear power plants in Japan, making them a reliable choice.
