"SL Reflecote" is a water-based high solar reflectance paint designed to be applied to the surfaces of buildings, including single-family homes, with the aim of suppressing the heat island phenomenon, which is a contributing factor to global warming. By combining it with the heat-insulating and heat-reflective paint "SL Coat 2000," it is possible to maximize heat insulation and heat reflection performance. Despite being available in dark colors, including black, it demonstrates a reflectance of over 60% in the near-infrared wavelength range, which is related to the heat of solar energy (measured based on JIS K 5602).
