It is a ceramic fiber brush that can perform deburring and polishing.
This is a deburring and polishing brush made with ceramic fiber. It has approximately 60 times the grinding power compared to nylon and can maintain its shape, allowing for long-term use. Additionally, there is a wide variety of grain sizes and dimensions available. By being mounted on machining equipment or robotic arms, it contributes to automation and achieves reductions in processes and costs.

basic information
This is an abrasive made from a composite material of alumina long fibers and resin. Each fiber has grinding properties, and unlike abrasive grains, it polishes using continuous filament fibers. Its design structure allows for burr removal while maintaining grinding power without changing shape. The particle size ranges widely from #150 to #6000, making it suitable for a variety of materials from metals to resins (up to about HRC55 for metals, depending on the size of the burr for resins). Sizes are available from φ1.0 to φ100, but sizes not in the lineup can also be produced. By attaching it to machining equipment or robotic arms, automation of burr removal can be achieved. Additional components such as dampers can be added as needed to extend automatic processing time and lifespan. We also have a proven track record of offering complete automated burr removal systems, including robotic arms.

Shouwa Chemical Co., Ltd. is a unique company specializing in fiber engineering that exclusively handles FRP, a material made from a blend of fibers and thermosetting resins. As a result, we receive numerous inquiries and requests for transactions from various industries. In response, we boldly challenge fields that were previously thought impossible with existing materials by shifting our mindset and developing new materials for new areas in-house, providing products that fully leverage the characteristics of FRP materials to the industrial sector. Notable examples include "FRP bolts and nuts" and "fiber grinding wheels." These products have been recognized for breaking away from the conventional wisdom of metal materials, achieving both insulation and durability, and providing flexibility to grinding wheels, enabling detailed processing. This has significantly enhanced SOWA's development capabilities and brand recognition. In addition to offering FRP products, we also develop related air tools for fiber grinding wheels, focusing on solving challenges for our partner companies. We are committed to creating peripheral equipment that allows manufacturing companies to improve efficiency and productivity, earning strong trust from our business partners.
