Jutz Japan is the Japanese subsidiary of an inspection machine manufacturer headquartered in China. The Chinese headquarters was established in 2007, and the Japanese subsidiary began selling equipment in 2015. In China, approximately 1,000 units of products are shipped annually. The "Mirage II" is an inline 3D solder paste inspection machine with high image reproduction capabilities. For measuring three-dimensional shapes, the "phase shift method" is used. A striped pattern is projected from a projector, and the phase shift of the reflected striped pattern is captured by a camera, allowing for the measurement of the height of the object based on that phase shift. By combining Jutz's unique high-precision XY gantry, high-precision and high-speed inspection is possible.
