We would like to introduce a case study of our production of "3D molded sheets (for trains, automobiles, buses, and aircraft)." Conventional cushioning materials, such as urethane foam, are difficult to recycle and pose a significant global issue due to the generation of toxic cyanide gas, which has a high fatality rate during fires. In response, we were requested by our customers to develop cushioning materials made primarily from polyester fibers that are safe and recyclable. We successfully manufactured a product that achieves cushioning properties and durability comparable to urethane foam. 【Case Overview】 ■ Challenges - Conventional cushioning materials made of urethane foam are difficult to recycle. - The generation of toxic cyanide gas during fires poses a significant global issue. ■ Solution - Achieved cushioning properties and durability equivalent to urethane foam using polyester fibers. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
