The strength classification of screws and the hardness classification of set screws are actually not used much!
Strengthening Guide for Screws (Vol. 48)! Introduction to the strength classifications of steel nuts and stainless steel nuts.
The strength classification of steel nuts is represented only by numbers. There are eight types: "04," "05," "5," "6," "8," "9," "10," and "12," but in everyday use, they are rarely encountered based on my experience. The likely reason is that there are few, if any, commercially available products that clearly indicate the strength classification, which results in them being seldom used in daily orders and transactions. Please understand that this is solely my personal opinion. So, how are daily orders and transactions conducted? In the case of nuts, it is mostly done by material name rather than strength classification. *For more detailed content of the blog, please refer to the related links.
