"BYK-3558" is a surface additive for high solid and medium solid paints based on silicone and polyether modified acrylate copolymers. Using BYK-3558 moderately reduces the surface tension of wet paint films, improving the wettability of the substrate and effectively preventing beading. It also imparts excellent leveling properties. While surface slip properties increase, the tendency for bubble stabilization within the paint film remains unchanged.

It also imparts excellent leveling properties. While surface slip properties are increased, the tendency for foam stabilization within the coating remains unchanged.
