The Arizium USB3 industrial active optical cable (AOC) transmits data from a host computer over a distance of up to 50 meters using a composite cable of conductors and optical fibers at a speed of 5Gbps with the USB protocol. Additionally, this AOC draws the necessary power for operation from the host port and supplies power directly to the connected devices through the conductors of the cable from the host USB port. *This AOC only supports 5Gbps USB3.1 Gen1 transmission and is not backward compatible with USB1.X or USB2 hosts or devices.
