We would like to introduce a case study regarding packaging consulting for vertical and horizontal expandable upper and lower pads for box-type enclosures. Due to the high value of the audio equipment, cushioning performance was an absolute requirement, and there was a request to reduce storage space. We proposed upper and lower pads made of Santec Foam, which boasts top-class cushioning performance. However, we later received a request to ensure "environmental performance" as well, and when we prepared a second proposal that balanced cushioning performance with reduced plastic use, we successfully managed to keep the volume and resin usage to less than half of the first proposal.
