Introducing a compact, lightweight, and low-cost entry model! Now you can capture weak visible light and ultraviolet light that you couldn't photograph before! [Demo unit requests are currently being accepted!]
The BS-70 series is a 12/16bit cooled CMOS camera system that reduces noise by cooling the CMOS sensor, achieving a high S/N ratio. The CMOS sensor generates a lot of heat due to its high-speed operation, making cooling very effective. Thanks to Bitran's unique sealed structure, there is no concern about condensation due to cooling. We offer a range of models, from low-cost entry models for easy use of cooled cameras to models equipped with back-illuminated sensors capable of capturing extremely weak light.

Model number | overview |
---|---|
BS-70M/C | [Low Price, Entry Model, Full HD] A low-cost, high-sensitivity cooled CMOS camera system with 12-bit gradation at 23fps. It achieves low-noise image quality through cooling with a backside-illuminated sensor that is highly sensitive to near-infrared. It is also excellent for research and development in biosciences such as DNA, proteins, and cells. |
BS-71M/C | [High Pixel, Global Shutter Cooled CMOS Camera] Equipped with a very low-noise global shutter using the backside-illuminated pixel structure of Pregius S. It captures images with high precision without motion distortion, even in dark environments. The high resolution and 20x gain are powerful in fields such as life sciences. |
BS-72M/C | [12bit, 4K Shooting, Low Noise] Features a backside-illuminated pixel technology STARVIS 2 technology sensor suitable for security camera applications. It has improved sensitivity in the near-infrared range with a 1/1.2 type 4K resolution suitable for security applications. With a pixel size of 2.9µm and approximately 8.4 million pixels, it is ideal for medical engineering and quality inspection. |
BS-73M | [Pseudo 16bit, Backside Illuminated, 9 Million Pixels] In addition to 12bit shooting, it can perform pseudo 16bit shooting with a 14bit shooting mode that is 2x2 digital binned, equivalent to 7.52µm square. It is optimal for replacing outdated cooled CCD cameras with ICX285 with the latest CMOS cameras. |
BS-74M | [Ultra High Sensitivity 16µm Square Pixel, Maximum Quantum Efficiency Over 90%] Equipped with a backside-illuminated scientific-grade CMOS. It captures SVGA (800x600) at 1 inch with ultra-high sensitivity even in very weak light. |
BS-74UV | [Ultraviolet Camera, Ultra High Sensitivity 16µm Square Pixel, Maximum Quantum Efficiency Over 90%] Ultra high sensitivity with a pixel size of 16µm square, suitable for the ultraviolet range of 200-1100nm. It enables the detection of fine scratches and defects that are difficult to identify in visible light. |

Our company has received high praise for our domestically produced cooling cameras, and for many years we have released various cooling cameras for astrophotography and industrial low-light imaging. A cooling camera is a camera that cools the sensor to below 0°C to reduce noise, allowing for high S/N ratio images even in dark environments or with weak light. We offer a lineup of cameras that can capture faint emissions and special wavelengths such as ultraviolet and near-infrared, which are not possible with regular cameras. Additionally, we also accept custom camera orders, so please feel free to contact us. Applications of cooling cameras: ■ Astronomical observation ■ Detection of weak light ■ Light measurement ■ Biological microscopy ■ Fluorescence microscopy imaging ■ Medical field ■ Special applications such as X-rays, ultraviolet, and near-infrared
