[Technical Proposal Example] Preventing Waste Marks by Switching from Vacuum Forming to Heat Press Forming
Reducing as much as possible with transparent resin materials! Introducing examples that recommend a change in construction methods.
This is an introduction to a case study on the transition from vacuum forming to thermal press forming, which prevents the occurrence of blemishes from debris. In vacuum forming, due to the working environment, debris and dust inevitably get trapped between the material and the mold, leaving blemishes. In thermal press forming, since the pressure is not at the level of vacuum forming, by using cushioning materials (such as cloth), even if small debris or dust gets between the product and the mold, the blemishes do not become noticeable. In other words, the transition to thermal press forming can prevent blemishes. [Case Overview] ■ Issues - In vacuum forming, debris and dust get trapped between the material and the mold, leaving blemishes. - In transparent materials like acrylic, this significantly affects the appearance quality. ■ Effects - The pressure is not at the level of vacuum forming. - Even if small debris or dust gets in, the blemishes are not noticeable. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Since its establishment in 1975 in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture, we have been engaged in consistent production from processing to assembly using plastic sheets (boards) as raw materials. The production using plastic sheets is suitable for small to medium-sized, diverse production or prototypes, and is utilized in various fields such as the interiors and exteriors of large vehicles and special vehicles, production equipment in high-tech fields, parts for machine tools, medical device components, aircraft parts, fixtures for commercial facilities, displays for museums, and building materials for exteriors. We mainly use acrylic, PVC, polycarbonate, PET, PP, PE, ABS, AES, and artificial marble. We primarily perform vacuum forming, pressure forming, R bending, adhesive welding, NC processing, and polishing with the above resins. Among these, we have focused on thermal processing since our founding. Thermal processing methods such as R bending and vacuum forming require not only equipment but also experience and intuition. In particular, R bending of transparent materials like polycarbonate has received high praise from many clients. Additionally, our vacuum forming is suitable for large items and small lot production of diverse products due to its single-shot forming capability. In our daily production, we always maintain a commitment and theme, continuously striving for improvement and enhancing our vacuum forming technology without being satisfied with the current state.
