Quantifying the deodorization effect of odors from sediment and sludge generated by river construction using odor sensors!

We would like to introduce a case study of the "Odor Sensor XP-329IIIR" handled by Shin Cosmos Electric Co., Ltd. At A Construction Co., Ltd., during civil engineering work on a river, it was found that contaminated materials had been disposed of in the past, resulting in the emission of NH3 and H2S odors from sand and sludge. Therefore, to address concerns from nearby residents, fixed odor sensors and deodorization equipment were installed for odor monitoring. These devices are used simultaneously for odor management in indoor sites and at exhaust outlets, as well as for environmental measurement and analysis.
