Quantifying the odor of imported feathers with an odor sensor for quality control! A case study where good and defective products were distinguished.
We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of the "Odor Sensor XP-329m" at a futon manufacturing company. The company experienced market complaints due to the animal odor of the down feathers used in their futons. Although they clean and process the feathers to deodorize them during the manufacturing process, they wanted to quantify the odor because individual sensitivity to smells varies greatly, leading them to adopt this product. After implementation, they have been conducting measurements through odor checks before processing and after the production of down futons. 【Case Overview】 ■ Model Used: Odor Sensor XP-329m ■ Industry: Manufacturing ■ Background: Quantification of animal odor in down feathers *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
