EVs are substances (vesicles) secreted from cells and are abundantly found in blood and urine. Because EVs contain various information derived from the cells they originate from, they are gaining attention in the field of bio-research. For example, EVs derived from cancer cells (malignant tumors) contain information about cancer, so the detection of EVs is expected to enable early diagnosis. Additionally, in recent years, there has been a focus on the functions of EVs derived from mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), leading to applications in the field of regenerative medicine. Despite the expectations for EVs as materials for diagnosis and medicine, existing detection methods often involve complicated processes or require expensive equipment. Our company believes that solving these challenges will contribute to the advancement of future EVs research, and we have developed this kit as a simple and cost-effective detection method. This kit uses a blue chromogenic material called "gold nanoplate," which we developed for immunochromatographic diagnostic agents, allowing for easy evaluation of the amount of EVs in the sample based on the intensity of the detection line. The simple operation makes it recommended for those starting EVs research or for use in settings where the introduction of equipment is difficult.
