Automatically stores printing logs, such as user name, computer name, and printing date and time, as well as text information within the document and printing images, in a designated location such as an internal file server during printing execution. 1. When a user prints a document, the printing log (user name, printer name, document name, page count, computer name, printing date and time, etc.) and the printing image (PDF file) as the original of the printed material are saved. 2. Text information extracted from the printed material is also stored. 3. Text information is stored from the PDF file. (It may not be possible to store it depending on the security attributes at the time of PDF creation.) By making it known that "the printing image is stored as the original," users will become more aware of information leakage, and it is expected to enhance the deterrent effect against unauthorized printing and unnecessary printing.
