KIN Sunrise Beach (management building side) is a beautiful beach in Kin Town, Okinawa Prefecture, where visitors can enjoy swimming, marine sports, and barbecues on a long beach. As part of the new construction of a management building, restroom, and shower facilities on this beach, which is a former U.S. military return site, the use of a sustainable circulation system was considered. Factors such as "environmentally friendly circulation that does not impact the sea," "performance that is not affected by fluctuations in user numbers," "low running costs and easy management," and "extensive track record in national parks, quasi-national parks, and World Heritage sites" were evaluated, leading to its adoption. A relatively large-scale "soil infiltration tank" has been installed, which is located in the park's grassy area and utilized as an open space.
