Detailed information
-
The Minamisanriku Town Disaster Recovery Memorial Park is a place for mourning and honoring those who lost their lives in the Great East Japan Earthquake, as well as a park established to preserve the memories and lessons of the extensive damage and to pray for recovery from the disaster. Additionally, the park has been designed with the concept of conveying disaster prevention, which is why a Sofeel recycling-type toilet system has been adopted, allowing for the use of flush toilets even during emergencies. Two Sofeel units have been installed in the restrooms on the premises.
