The motion capture system enables collaborative teaching and learning for robots at Osaka University, Faculty of Engineering Science.
Mr. Wan Weiwei, who serves as a long-term associate professor at Osaka University’s Graduate School of Engineering Science, has installed NOKOV motion capture cameras in the robotics laboratory to obtain position data of both the experimenter and the robotic arm. By using the motion capture system, human motion data can be sent to collaborative robots, allowing for personalized "teaching." This method enables collaborative robots to acquire human motion posture information in real-time, immediately imitate it, and work alongside human experimenters to complete a cooperative relationship. The teaching-learning method using the motion capture system can be applied to various robotic arm hardware devices, achieving flexible robot operations in diverse production environments.

Company information
Beijing Measurement Technology Co., Ltd. focuses on independent research and development, production, and sales of optical three-dimensional motion capture systems, and is committed to providing world-class motion capture technology services to scientific research institutions and enterprises. As a manufacturer of optical three-dimensional motion capture systems, we possess complete independent intellectual property rights and a reliable supply chain system for our products. After the launch of our products, we received extensive recognition in the Chinese market over the past two to three years, and many universities, scientific research institutions, and large enterprises have become our customers. China and Japan are geographically adjacent, with almost no time difference and very similar cultural practices. Japan has long been an important economic and trade partner for China, so we place great importance on the Japanese market. To further meet the demands of the Japanese market and to avoid any misunderstandings during use, we have developed a Japanese version of our motion capture software. Additionally, to facilitate quicker understanding and communication with us, we have launched a Japanese version of our website.
