Strengths of Peroxotitanium-based Coatings ~ Coatings that do not use dispersants or organic materials ~ 【Manufacturing Technology】 1) A neutral peroxotitanium aqueous solution is produced using water and titanium oxide as the main raw materials through a unique method. 2) From the peroxotitanium aqueous solution, anatase-type titanium oxide (peroxo-modified sol) with photocatalytic activity is produced. - In the case of visible light-responsive types, silver or copper is doped when producing anatase-type titanium oxide. 3) The mixture of peroxotitanium and the modified sol is our photocatalytic coating agent. 【Differentiation Points】 - Achieves dispersion of titanium oxide in pure water. - Peroxotitanium has self-adhesiveness to the substrate, eliminating the need for mixing with resins or binder materials. - Forms a coating film of titanium oxide close to 100%, allowing for efficient photocatalytic effects (titanium oxide does not get buried in the binder). - Since water and titanium oxide are the main components, it reduces environmental impact and is user-friendly for workers.

Super hydrophilicity: When the coating film is exposed to ultraviolet light, water droplets spread easily, making it difficult for dirt to adhere. High transparency: It has a high visible light transmittance. High adhesion: Coating can be performed at room temperature, showing high adhesion to various substrates such as metals and organic materials. Heating treatment at over 100°C can form an even denser coating film. High weather resistance: As it is fundamentally a completely inorganic coating agent, it exhibits excellent weather resistance. Safety and stability: Being water-based and neutral to weakly alkaline, it is easy to handle and has high safety. Additionally, it has high long-term stability and is easy to store. High hardness: Coating at room temperature can achieve hardness of H or higher. Depending on the formulation ratio, hardness of 4H or higher is also possible.
