The "GC FATWAX Ultranart" is a PEG-type GC column specialized for applications that separate fatty acid methyl esters, fatty acid ethyl esters, and fatty acids. To ensure reproducibility of FAME equivalent chain length values, proper identification of key FAMEs such as EPA, DPA, and DHA, and separation capability of major FAME pairs, tests using FAME mixtures have been conducted.
