This is an electrolysis cell for ozone generation through the electrolysis of water. By sandwiching a solid electrolyte membrane between a diamond electrode (boron-doped diamond, BDD) and the cathode, pure water and low-conductivity tap water can be efficiently electrolyzed to produce ozonated water.
