I will explain the "ion source deposition," "PCVD," and "FAD" that we are conducting!
DLC film formation utilizes technologies such as PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) and CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition). Ion source deposition is a type of PVD where a filament is heated to ionize hydrocarbon gas using thermal electrons, which then collide with the substrate under a potential difference to create a coating. PCVD (Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition) involves ionizing hydrocarbon gas in a plasma region and colliding it with the substrate under a potential difference to form a coating. FAD (Filtered Arc Deposition) uses a magnetic field filter to draw only ionized carbon into the substrate for film formation. [Film formation methods we employ] ■ Ion source deposition ■ PCVD (Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition) ■ FAD (Filtered Arc Deposition) *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Company information
Onward Giken is an expert company that specializes in contract processing for surface treatments such as DLC and ceramic coatings. 【Pioneers in DLC Film Development with High Technology for Both Equipment and Films】 In 1986, we were among the first in Japan to introduce film deposition equipment, and in 2001, we completed our own developed DLC equipment. Since then, we have continued to develop new films and now handle a variety of coatings, including 13 types of ceramic films and 8 types of DLC films, with numerous patents obtained. 【Development Technology + Years of Experience + 21 Types of Films = Onward's Proposal Power】 At Onward Giken, we propose the most suitable film for our customers from over 21 types of coatings based on our self-developed "film deposition technology" and the data obtained from more than 30 years of extensive "experience." First, our sales representatives listen to the customer's needs and the issues they want to solve, and then our internal team analyzes them. Additionally, with the support of the Technology Development Research Department responsible for equipment development, we consider solutions across all departments to address the customer's problems. 【Support for Development Prototypes and Small Lots from One Item】 Orders of 5 items or fewer per lot account for 79% of our total orders. We also regularly handle orders starting from one item. We are happy to accept inquiries from universities and companies regarding development projects.
