Three Major Features of ERIN 1. Excellent Wear Resistance Developed based on the phenomenon of room temperature impact curing, this film-forming technology creates a dense film with minimal pinholes and high adhesion. ERIN, with a hardness of over HV1000, has twice the durability of DLC, and does not chip even when struck. 2. Excellent Corrosion Resistance A comparison of the rust prevention capabilities of products treated with DLC and ERIN. (Both DLC and ERIN have the same film thickness of 3μm, and a neutral salt spray test was conducted.) No rust was observed on ERIN even after 2 hours, when rust appeared on the DLC, and it endured for over 24 hours. 3. Excellent Heat Resistance With the melting point of alumina, the raw material, being around 2000°C, ERIN is expected to perform well in high-temperature and harsh applications. In heating durability tests of ERIN-coated and non-coated surfaces, the ERIN film showed no changes in appearance, volume, or dimensions.
