Notice of the 20th Pumping Technology Research Meeting

Introduction to the evaluation of the pumpability of concrete using postponed materials on March 6, 2024 (Wednesday)!

The 20th Pumping Technology Research Meeting will be held at the "Osaka Institute of Technology Umeda Campus" (with simultaneous web streaming). The forward mortar used when employing concrete pumps has seen the development of alternative materials in recent years, which are now being used on-site. A "Testing Methods for Forward Materials JIS Establishment Committee" has been formed, and in response to a request for cooperation from this committee, a pumping experiment was conducted during the 17th Field Experiment (2023) to qualitatively understand the appropriate usage of various forward materials, the properties of concrete, and the relationship with the amount that should be discarded. In this Pumping Technology Research Meeting, we will report on the results of this series of research.
