**What is SGL?** Based on galvanized steel sheets with a proven track record, SGL adds the rust prevention effect of magnesium (Mg). It achieves over three times the corrosion resistance of galvanized steel sheets. The excellent corrosion resistance enhancement mechanism of SGL is particularly evident under severe corrosion conditions. Under such conditions, the zinc-rich phase can rapidly deplete, leading to early corrosion even in galvanized steel sheets. SGL addresses this issue by coexisting a magnesium-enriched phase with the zinc-rich phase, enabling the formation of a more dense and less water-soluble protective film. This is siding made from high-performance steel materials featuring SGL from two brands.
