We would like to introduce a case study of precision machining for "medical devices" that we conducted. The material used is A5052, with dimensions of φ350×t12, and we performed groove machining on the packing section using special tools. Previously, this was processed by an external contractor using a general-purpose lathe, but we have switched to in-house processing with a CNC lathe. Since it is a medical device, any surface scratches are unacceptable, so we spend time correcting any imperfections.
