TG-DTA (Thermogravimetric Differential Thermal Analysis) simultaneously measures the weight change and temperature change of a sample. TG (Thermogravimetric Analysis) detects various thermal changes associated with weight changes, such as decomposition, dehydration, and oxidation, by measuring the weight change of the sample while heating and cooling it. DTA (Differential Thermal Analysis) detects various thermal changes associated with heat changes, such as melting, crystallization, and glass transition, by measuring the temperature difference between the sample and a reference material. DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) measures the enthalpy changes associated with thermal changes such as melting, crystallization, and glass transition by keeping the sample and reference material at the same temperature change and measuring the temperature difference to determine the heat absorbed or released by the sample.
