Tool life has been extended! A case of replacing coolant containing chlorine compounds.
We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of water-soluble cutting oil "beacon" to Company T, which specializes in equipment parts processing. The company previously used a chlorinated paraffin-containing emulsion coolant. Chlorinated compounds were deemed essential for processing, but due to changes in regulations regarding the use of chemical substances, the use of chlorinated paraffin was banned, leading to a switch to type 3. After the change, they were able to achieve processing performance similar to that of the previous oil, and the tool life was extended. It was noted that the oil is smooth and non-sticky, with no adhesion of chips. 【Case Overview】 ■ Customer Name: Company T (Equipment Parts Processing) ■ Oil Used: Type 3 ■ Equipment: NC Lathe ■ Material Processed: SUS306 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
