Detailed information

The "Massivit1800" is a 3D printer specialized in creating large objects, with dimensions of approximately 1.8m in height, 1.4m in width, and 1.2m in depth, making it one of the largest in the world. It has the capability to create a cylindrical shape with a diameter of 1m and a height of 35cm in just one hour. The printed objects can be made with a hollow structure, which helps reduce weight even for large creations, thereby lowering transportation and installation costs. Additionally, by splitting models for printing, it is possible to create even larger and more complex shapes.
-
The print head used for shaping has two units on the left and right, allowing for simultaneous use, which enables further acceleration by creating two models at the same time. The Massivit-specific UV-curable resin is layered and cured with UV light during the shaping process. Since it is a dedicated resin, you cannot choose the color or material. The layering pitch can be selected from three options: 0.85mm, 1.0mm, or 1.3mm. After shaping, the models are sent to a partner company to finish them to the desired texture and color. It is also possible to increase strength by incorporating steel frames inside.
-
The "J750" is a 3D printer capable of full-color and transparent color modeling with precision at a layer pitch of 14μ. It can reproduce textures applied in 3D-CAD and colors set in the data in full color.
-
The J750 uses a dedicated liquid resin that is sprayed and cured with UV light to create shapes. The dedicated resin comes with various properties, allowing for adjustments in hardness and transparency through combinations. The layer pitch can be selected from two options: 14μm or 27μm.

When "3D printer" is introduced on TV or the internet, it is often referring to FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printers. Due to the accessibility of the machines themselves and the materials, they are widely available to the general public. Unlike the previous two, it is not possible to refer to FDM printers collectively because there are various manufacturers and models, making it impossible to narrow it down to one. At Tsujikawa, we also have multiple types of FDM 3D printers from different manufacturers and with varying build volumes.
-
The "FDM method" is referred to as "Fused Deposition Modeling" in English. As the name suggests, it involves layering resin materials while applying heat to create objects. The materials used in FDM 3D printers are shaped like thin, long strands, known as "filament." A characteristic of the FDM method is the wide variety of filament types available. In addition to white and black, there are a wide range of color variations including red, blue, and green, as well as special options like pearl, metallic, and clear colors. Recently, environmentally friendly materials made from natural substances like wood have also become available.

After 100 years since its founding, Tsujikawa's core technology of "sculpting" has now evolved into "decorating technology," "cutting technology," and "shaping technology." These three technologies are used in various products, including cosmetics, toiletries, food, home appliances, and daily necessities, showcasing the results of Tsujikawa's technology in every aspect of life. While cherishing the traditional hand-carved sculptures created with chisels and hammers from the founding era, we continue to challenge ourselves with metal sculpting using machines such as sculpting machines and machining centers, as well as sculptural modeling utilizing 3D printers and five-axis machining. The fusion of craftsmanship passed down over the past 100 years and cutting-edge technology is Tsujikawa's strength. The technology we have cultivated is beneficial not only in Japan but also to people around the world. In recent years, Tsujikawa has expanded into five countries: China, Thailand, Indonesia, India, and Vietnam, in line with globalization. We provide high-quality products utilizing Tsujikawa's sculpting technology to both Japanese companies and local customers. In the next 100 years, we will continue to evolve and challenge ourselves with the mission of "beautifying and making the world comfortable through sculpting technology, enriching people's hearts and lives."
