For research on elderly walking and strokes! Wearable gait analysis system.
The wearable motion analysis system "Physilog Census" provides data that can be used not only for assessing fall risk and screening frail elderly individuals but also for research and clinical applications related to conditions such as stroke. Additionally, being wearable allows for measurements to be taken without restricting the subject's movements. It offers seven standardized tests, including the 10-meter walk test and the Timed Up and Go (TUG) test, with immediate report display on a tablet device, as well as the option to obtain more detailed reports through post-processing. *There are 39 parameters available. - In gait analysis, parameters such as stance phase and toe-heel clearance are output. - In running analysis, parameters such as stance time and heel contact angle are output. - Automatic calibration. - Output of all data per step is possible (.xls). - Access to raw data (3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyro, barometric pressure). - PDF reports including visualization with color coding, compatible with online/offline analysis software (offline version scheduled for release in 2024). - Compatible with macOS/Windows. - Over 500 scientific references available.
