Protease products
The kallikrein-related peptidases (KLK) family, consisting of 15 homologous serine proteases (KLK1 to KLK15), plays a crucial role in various physiological and pathological processes. Notable KLKs, including KLK3, KLK5, KLK6, KLK10, and KLK14, demonstrate significant effects on the regulation of cancer onset, proliferation, migration, invasion, and chemotherapy resistance, influencing complex molecular networks associated with the survival and dissemination of cancer cells. The functional relevance of KLKs in cancer progression has made them important biomarkers and therapeutic targets in various cancers. In translational medicine, KLK1, KLK2, KLK3, KLK5, KLK7, KLK14, and KLKB1 are utilized in the design of KLK-targeted therapies, showing promise for the treatment of cancer, neurological disorders, skin diseases, and other medical fields. Sino Biological is committed to advancing drug development targeting KLKs, offering a comprehensive selection of recombinant KLK proteins and corresponding antibodies for isoform mapping, ELISA measurements, and the identification of kallikreins that are highly expressed in specific carcinomas.

basic information
Sino Biological's products are frequently cited in reputable journals and play a significant role in KLK-related research. These products support studies such as isozyme mapping, ELISA measurements, and the identification of kallikreins that are highly expressed in specific carcinomas. In the isoform mapping and interactome study of endogenous TMPRSS2-ERG fusion proteins in VCaP prostate cancer cells using orthogonal immunoprecipitation mass spectrometry assays, anti-KLK3 rabbit monoclonal antibodies were used as an IgG control isotype, supporting more accurate prostate development. Using human KLK11 and KLK13 ELISA kits, KLK (hK11 and hK13) levels in preoperative and postoperative serum samples from prostate cancer patients were measured, revealing a significant decrease in KLK levels in postoperative serum. In another study, Hashemipour et al. used lysates from 293T cells transfected with KLK10 and KLK111 as a control, confirming that human tissue kallikreins are highly expressed in pleomorphic adenomas and mucoepidermoid carcinomas.
