Prototyping with a 3D printer - Introducing examples of mass-produced urethane rubber mold press products!
We would like to introduce a case where we created a jig for mass-produced urethane rubber mold press products by prototyping with a 3D printer. We were using plastic molded products as protective materials, but there were issues with chipping and wear. At our company, we selected a urethane that is resistant to wear and produced it through press molding. Due to the complex structure, we prototyped with a 3D printer to confirm the shape and fit before creating the mold. [Case Overview] ■ Issues - The plastic protective material wears out or chips. ■ Solutions - Prototyped with a 3D printer and confirmed the shape and fit before creating the mold. - Shape confirmation allows for fine adjustments before mold production. - Adopted a direct pressure press molding method. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
