Our collaborative robot, "Techman Robot," is equipped with a high-performance 2.5D camera as standard. We would like to introduce the shape detection function using the camera that comes standard with the "Techman Robot." The standard camera not only has a coordinate correction function using landmarks but also allows for shape detection, which directly recognizes the shape of the target workpiece, corrects its position and orientation, and enables picking. It accurately detects subtle differences in the shapes of the target workpieces with a high-precision camera, recognizes each shape's differences, and allows for picking in the order of the specified priority. This makes it possible to arrange the workpieces in the desired order, regardless of their configuration.
