Captiva EMR-Lipid performs highly selective and efficient lipid/matrix removal without losing target compounds. The new EMR-Lipid removes lipids by combining size exclusion and hydrophobic interactions. Effective lipid removal minimizes ion suppression of target compounds, significantly improving the reliability and robustness of the analysis. The 96-well plate and 1mL cartridge format enable solvent-first protein precipitation within the well. This simplifies sample preparation and allows for easy flow through improved filter design using vacuum or positive pressure. The 3mL and 6mL cartridges are particularly suitable for lipid removal from food samples.
